Jimmy Donaldson, born May 7, 1998, best known as the alias MrBeast is an American YouTuber, entrepreneur, and an philanthropist. Six of his YouTube videos are famous for their expensive stunts. His main YouTube channel, "MrBeast", is the fifth-most-subscribed on the platform. Donaldson began uploading videos on YouTube in early 2012 at 13 years old under the handle "MrBeast6000"; his early videos ranged from "Let's Plays" to "videos which estimated the riches of other YouTubers." The channel went viral in the year 2017 following his "counting to 100,000" video racked up millions of views in just a couple of days. He has become increasingly popular ever since, with most of his videos gaining tens of millions of views.Over time, his style of content diversified to include donation and challenge videos that pay thousands of dollars, videos involving arduous tasks or survival challenges and original video vlogs. Donaldson brought in a few former classmates to assist him in managing the expanding brand once it was established. MrBeast was the primary YouTube channel of Donaldson and had 60 subscribers.
