Jacques Bermon Webster I, born April 30th, 1990 also known as Travis Scott (formerly Travi$ Scott) is an American rapper and singer. The stage name he uses is the combination of the name of a favorite uncle, and the initials Kid Cudi (whose real identity is Scott Mescudi), Scott signed his debut major-label contract in 2012 with Epic Records. In April 2013 the singer-songwriter signed a joint-recording agreement with Epic and T.I. The record was released under the Grand Hustle imprint. Scott's first project that was full-length the mixtape Owl Pharaoh, was self-released in 2013. In 2013 Scott released his debut full-length mixtape, Owl Pharaoh. It was then immediately followed by Days Before Rodeo. Rodeo (2015) was his debut studio album. It featured the hit song "Antidote". The album that followed called Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016), became his first album to reach the top spot on the Billboard 200. Scott released Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016) together with Quavo under the name of Huncho Jack. In the year 2018, Astroworld was released to high praise from critics. The album produced his first Billboard Hot 100 top 100 single, "Sicko Mode" feat. Drake. Scott's Cactus Jack Records album JackBoys was released on the Billboard 200 in late 2019. Following the release of his single "Franchise" that featured Young Thug as well as M.I.A., Scott was able to release the album compilation JackBoys. Scott was the first rapper to reach the top spot on the Hot 100 with three songs in less than one year.
